Nokia X6 India launch confirmed as support page goes live on company's local website

The Nokia X6 - company's first notch-totting smartphone - has managed to generate a lot of user-interest, not only in China (the only region where the device is currently available) but in other markets around the world as well.
This resulted in HMD effectively confirming that the device will get a global launch. However, since then, the company has been mum on the topic. But silent developments have been taking place. For example, a couple of global models recently received Bluetooth certification, and the device was also briefly spotted listed on Nokia's international website.
Now, a new development has come to light. A support page for the device has gone live on the Nokia India website.
Not only this, the user guide for the device hosted on the website clearly says the device follows rules set by DoT in India. Here's what exactly the guide says:
Your mobile device is also designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves established by the India Department of Telecommunications. These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue.
So it's reasonable to say India is getting the Nokia X6. Details on pricing and launch aren't yet available, but the wait shouldn't be long now.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi Note 5 Pro both get stable Android 9 Pie updates

Back in March, Xiaomi started sending out beta builds of the Android 9 Pie update for both the  Redmi 6 Pro   and the   Redmi Note 5 Pro   to interested testers in India. And now it looks like all the bugs have been ironed out, because the stable update is rolling out for both devices. It's arriving over-the-air in India, as MIUI 10.3.2.0.PDMMIXM for the Redmi 6 Pro, weighing in at 1.6GB. This release includes the May 2019 security patch level. You also get face unlock support for App lock, the ability to stay on the lock screen after using face unlock, and to restrict the opening of the notification shade on the lock screen. Samsung announces world's first 5G modem - the Exynos 5100

     Samsung has been working on its 5G modem for some time now and was first showcased during this year's CES. Today, the company formally announced the finished product and called it Exynos 5100. It's the companys's first 5G modem and complies to the 3GPP standards. Like the modem in the current Exynos 9810 chipset found in the Galaxy  S9 ,  S9+  and  Note9 , the Exynos 5100 modem is built on the 10nm manufacturing process supporting legacy networks like 2G GSM/CDMA, 3G WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, HSPA, and 4G LTE within a single chip solution. What's more important, though, is that the modem is a fully capable 5G networking hardware supporting sub-6GHz and mmWave spectrum defined by the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project). This means that the chip can reach theoretical speeds of up to 2Gbps using the sub-6GHz frequency and up to 6Gbps on the mmWave.
