WhatsApp's chief business officer Neeraj Arora quits

Neerja Arora, WhatsApp’s chief business officer, is the latest Facebook executive to step down the facebook cluster of companies in the last few months. In a Facebook post, Arora said he is “going to be taking some time off to recharge and spend time with family,” and thanked WhatsApp co-founders Jan Koum and Brian Acton.

Koum stepped down as WhatsApp CEO earlier this year over disagreements with Facebook executives over privacy and encryption. Acton had left WhatsApp a year ago, in September 2017, to start his own non-profit. However, a few months later, he urged people to #deletefacebook on his Twitter account. The co-founders’ departure reportedly boiled down to disagreements over the monetization options for WhatsApp which has been anti-ads since the beginning.

Arora had been with WhatsApp since 2011, when the company was just two years old. He was with the corporate development team at Google and a part of several acquisitions, where he served for four years. Prior to that, he worked at Times Internet. Until earlier this year, he served on Paytm’s board of directors for close to three years.
Note that WhatsApp has just hired its first-ever India head — former Ezetap founder Abhijit Bose — after immense pressure from the Union Government to bring the spread of misinformation on WhatsApp under control. The India office will be based out of Gurgaon, and it will WhatsApp first office outside of the US.
This is very good news for india but not for as well as good for Arora. Who work for whatsapp last severl years. He see the company to move toward new hight and see new in company.

@VC_11 Hacker runs WinPE with Windows 10 ARM image on a Lumia Windows Phone Earlier this week, Windows Phone Internals 2.3 became available for download , allowing any non-technical user with a Lumia handset root the device. The tool basically allows you to bypass the SecureBoot on all Lumia phones after successfully unlocking the bootloader. Apple sold fewer iPhones but made more money thanks to the iPhone

Apple’s first quarterly earnings reports for 2018 are in, and the company has reported that it sold 77.3 million iPhones in Q1 2018 (which includes the holiday season). That number is down 1.24 percent year over year from last year (78.3 million). But despite the slump in sales, iPhone revenue increased overall year over year, up 11.69 percent from $54.38 billion to $61.58 billion. While predictions for the average sale price of iPhone units sold during the quarter ranged from $710 to $755, the actual ASP was $796 (compared to $694 in Q1 2017), which directly explains the increase of revenue despite the decrease in sales. That said, despite the record revenue, analysts were still expecting a slight increase of approximately 1.5 percent year over year for units shipped, not a decrease.
