Asus ZenFone Live L1 comes with Snapdragon 425 SoC and Android Oreo (Go edition) OS.
The Asus Zenfone Live L1 was announced in May this year. It s an entry-level smartphone, which is also the company s first to feature an Android Go operating system While the smartphone was launched in Indonesia in May, the company is also making it available in Philippines now, citing at a possible expansion to other markets. This means that there is a good chance that Asus Zenfone Live L1 could come to India as well.
The Asus Zenfone Live L1 has been priced at PHP 5,995 (Rs 7,600) in the Philippines. It s higher than the Indonesian pricing, which was DR 1,399,000 (Rs 6,750). With possibilities of an Indian launch, we can expect the phone to be priced under Rs 8,000. The phone comes with basic specifications and is available in Space Blue, Rose Pink, Shimmer Gold, and Midnight Black.

Asus Zenfone Live L1 is an entry-level smartphone that features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, and comes in two variants – 1GB RAM with 8GB storage and 2GB RAM variant with 16GB storage. The price mentioned above is only for 2GB + 16GB variant, as that seems to be the only one that has been launched in Philippines.
In the camera department, the phone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, which features an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel selfie camera upfront which comes with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The key highlight of the phone is that it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based on Go edition. Android Oreo (Go edition) is a customized version of Android Oreo designed specifically for entry-level smartphones. It comes with Go-branded applications that work seamlessly even with minimum hardware. The ZenFone Live L1 also packs in a 3,000mAh battery.
