Xiaomi Mi 8 SE 128 GB version arrives

Xiaomi announced the Mi 8 SE back in May and later the phone was launched with 64 GB storage and two RAM options - 4 GB or 6 GB. Now the company adds a third version to its Mi Store - one with 128 GB storage.

The phone does not differ in any other way from the Mi 8 SE that we just reviewed. It runs on Snapdragon 710 with octa-core CPU and boots Android Oreo. The screen is a 5.88” AMOLED panel with a notch on top that houses all the traditional sensors and comes with the basic Android Face Unlock feature (the high-end face-scanning tech is reserved for the Mi 8 Explorer).
Initially, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE was no more than CNY1,999, but the new variant costs CNY2,299 or around than $380/€290. Sadly, it is offered only in Gray; none of the three other colors, including the sexy Pink from our review, are available at the moment.

Today the update has finally started seding and we even got a bunch of screenshots from it. The Oreo Beta of the  Xiaomi Mi A1  is 1104 MB in size, and according to an early adopter makes the fingerprint reader on the back is a bit faster. Apparently, the dual-SIM feature is not entirely flawless in this early edition, though. The tests should end soon as  Xiaomi promised that the Mi A1 Oreo stable update will arrive before the end of 2017.

Renders of the Lenovo Z5 show the front-facing camera

Surprisingly, this time around the latest Lenovo Z5 info comes from a leak and not from the company's VP. All the information we have on the device so far was officially teased from the Lenovo's official, but now something extra has slipped through the cracks. The renders show the promised nearly bezel-less display with a small chin on the bottom. This is in line with the previous teasers showing nothing but screen and thankfully no notch. They also reveal how Lenovo has tackled the front-facing camera and the accompanying sensors problem. Lenovo Z5 press renders Just like the  Xiaomi Mi Mix , the upcoming Lenovo Z5 will incorporate the front-facing camera, the ambient sensor, and probably the proximity sensor, on the chin. The earpiece is missing, obviously, so we suspect some kind of tech similar to the one driving the Mi Mix with the vibrating screen replacing the speaker.
